Members of the Granite Falls Lions club host a summer picnic and Christmas party for the visually impaired persons in their community each year. One of the club’s successful fundraisers to support their service activities is a golf tournament held at the Cedar Rock Country Club in Lenoir, NC. The Granite Falls Lions club through their fundraising efforts support various community organizations and causes including the Robin’s Nest Children’s Advocacy Center in Lenoir NC, Granite Falls Middle School, South Caldwell Christian Ministries and Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute. If you live in the Granite Falls community, this club will welcome you as a volunteer!

Both the Hudson Lions Club and the Granite Falls Lions Club are the only two remaining clubs of the Caldwell County Lions Association. Both clubs have formed a partnership in serving the community including large donations to the Caldwell County Food Bank, funds for cataract surgery, free eye exams and glasses for those community members in need and supporting the children’s diabetes fund. Club members sponsor an annual picnic and Christmas party for the visually impaired in their community. If you live in the Hudson community, this club will welcome you as a volunteer!
