The Gastonia Evening Lions Club serves their community by providing high school scholarships and members volunteer on a regular basis at the BackPack Weekend Food Program. More than 1.5 million meals have been distributed to students in the Gaston County School System since its beginnings in 2011. The club also provides financial assistance when requested to qualified individuals living in their community that require eye exams, eyeglasses, or specialized equipment to improve vision. If you live in the Gastonia community, this club will welcome you as a volunteer!
