Volunteer with the Lions Clubs of western North Carolina

Our motto is "We Serve." Lions are part of a global service network, doing whatever is necessary to help our local communities.

Founded in 1917, Lions volunteer for many kinds of community projects including diabetes awareness, childhood cancer awareness, caring for the environment, feeding the hungry, and aiding seniors and the disabled.

In addition, Lions conduct vision screenings and raise awareness of eye disease, working toward their mission of providing vision for all.
Lions support local children and schools awarding college scholarships and volunteering for school recreation events and even mentoring students.

Lions also help communities following natural disasters by providing for immediate needs such as food, water, clothing, medical supplies and aiding in long-term reconstruction.

Since 1968, the Lions Clubs International Foundation has awarded more than $700 million in grants to support Lions humanitarian projects around the world.
